Care Quality Commission
We're the first Pathfinder company
Medical Services Ltd was one of the first companies to be registered by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) when it began regulating independent ambulance services on 1 April 2011.
In our first inspection under the Care Quality Commission regulations, Medical Services has received a clean bill of health for two key standards - infection control and patient respect.
The CQC inspectors have visited the company's Centre of Excellence stations in Alperton, West London and Bow, East London as well as our North West regional hub station in Warrington, Cheshire and have officially reported that we are meeting all the essential standards of quality and safety.
In a message to staff, Joe Sheehan, managing director, said the inspectors' reports were an encouraging start for the company in the new era of regulation but public examination is a continuous part of registration and more visits to any one or more of our locations will be made. "Therefore we have no room for complacency in our commitment to maintaining a high level of patient service and to push ourselves for continuous quality improvement."
